- Confirm your Lumi sensor device LED indication if it is in one of the below red modes. If solid green but you see a disconnected state in-app, please contact our support team.
- If the LED is flashing red, ensure the WiFi network is available:
- If it’s not available, reconnect with an available network
- If it’s available, ensure the correct password is entered in during reconnection
- If the LED is solid red:
- First, try turning off the power for 30 seconds and turning it back on. This requires flipping the mains switch on the switchboard because the device is always powered on when wired up, and there is no button on the device that allows you to turn it off
- Second, contact our support team if the above does not fix the problem.
- If the LED is flashing red, ensure the WiFi network is available:
- Press and hold the pairing button for a few seconds until it enters pairing mode (flashing green).
- Follow the steps in-app.
- Confirm the device is back to solid green (may take up to a minute) and you can see live data in the app.
Notes:
- If the Lumi device was previously connected properly, it will continue tracking energy consumption even without a Wi-Fi connection. Once the internet connection is restored, the Lumi device will send the last data.
- You may see a spike in your graph as all accumulated consumption will be recorded at that time point.
- It may take some time until the device reconnects to the internet.
- You will need an internet connection on your device to view the data in the Lumi app.
