How does Lumi estimate energy costs?

Lumi estimates energy costs using the most recent energy prices available - those for the current month if available, or the previous month’s prices if current month data isn’t yet accessible.

Once your breaker sensor device is connected to your Lumi app, you'll see monthly energy cost estimates on the Dashboard screen. We display two types of estimates:

• Your energy expense to date in the current billing period - This is the sum of all tariff components up to the current point.
• Your projected cost for the full billing period - This is calculated assuming your electricity usage remains consistent with your current consumption patterns.

Energy providers typically publish rates retroactively. Due to this, the data displayed in Lumi are estimates and may differ from your actual energy bill.
